Music

Music and rhythm is all around us yet when we stop to play it, we find out actually how difficult it can be to reproduce those sounds.

Children's study of music varies but in the early formal education years, they are introduced to rhythm, different instruments, the different sounds they produce and are encouraged to join these together to hear what it sounds like.

Many children to learn an instrument at this age and study formal composition, music theory and practice.

There are many ways to learn music, through reading music through to playing by ear.

The great composers provide children with the concept of what is possible with their selected instruments.

Here are some links to the best info on composers, music theory and practice that I could find. I hope you find them useful too.
